The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is seeking candidates for the positions of Consultant (Civil) and Consultant (Electrical) on a contractual basis. The tenure for these roles is initially one year, with the possibility of extension up to three years or until the candidate reaches the age of 65, whichever comes first. There are two vacancies available for these positions.

Tenure:
Candidates will be appointed for one year, which may be extended based on requirements, for an additional three years or until the age of 65 years.
Age Limit:
The maximum age limit for applicants is 63 years as of the application deadline.
Eligibility and Experience:
Consultant (Civil):
- Qualification: Must be retired at the level of Executive Engineer or above (pay matrix level 11 or above) from Central/State Government, PSUs, Autonomous bodies, or Statutory bodies.
- Experience: At least five years as an Executive Engineer (Civil) or equivalent.
- Skills: Proficient in a computer environment.
Consultant (Electrical):
- Qualification: Must be retired at the level of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) or above (pay matrix level 8 or above) from Central/State Government, PSUs, Autonomous bodies, or Statutory bodies.
- Experience: At least five years as an Assistant Engineer (Electrical) or equivalent.
- Skills: Proficient in a computer environment.
Place of Posting:
The selected candidates will be posted at the UIDAI Head Office in New Delhi.
Salary:
Consultant (Civil):
- For pensioners: Consolidated remuneration equal to the last pay drawn minus pension.
- For non-pensioners: ₹75,000 per month.
- Local Conveyance: ₹5,000 per month.
- Note: No other allowances such as Dearness Allowance, Provident Fund, Pension, Residential Telephone, CGHS medical reimbursement, etc., are provided.
Consultant (Electrical):
- For pensioners: Consolidated remuneration equal to the last pay drawn minus pension.
- For non-pensioners: ₹50,000 per month.
- Local Conveyance: ₹3,000 per month.
- Note: No other allowances such as Dearness Allowance, Provident Fund, Pension, Residential Telephone, CGHS medical reimbursement, etc., are provided.
